What is The Tina Project?

Mission:

The Tina Project is a multi-agency, multi-county, organizational collaborative that helps Ohio schools meet and exceed state laws in order to prevent teen dating violence and promote healthy relationships, so that what happened to Tina Croucher never happens to another young person.

Goals and objectives:

The Tina Project was created to:

  • Educate students, teachers, and faculty
  • Raise awareness of teen dating violence
  • Assist schools in becoming compliant with the new mandate HB 19
  • Build capacity for school systems through launching a regional prevention initiative
  • Attempt to break the intergenerational cycle of domestic violence
 
Population to be served:
The population to be served by this grant is teens ranging from 7th-12th grades.

The Tina Project is now scheduling trainings and presentations for schools in the state of Ohio
